Everyone is invited to attend a special kick-off event this Thursday for the Head for the Cure Race. Come find out more about this year's race to be held in the Spring of 2017. The kick-off event will be Thursday, December 1 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation offices located at 616 N. Virginia, Suite D. Light hors devours and refreshments will be served.
This year's Head for the Cure Run will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Ascarate Park. Local proceeds will benefit the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation.
The mission of Head for the Cure is to raise awareness and funding to inspire hope for the community of brain cancer patients, their families, friends, caregivers and other supporters, while celebrating their courage, spirit and energy.
